Mindbank Consulting Group of Denver is the prime contract vendor providing radio frequency engineering,
and detailed technical and financial plans, including brand, model and price equipment consultation for
the total replacement of all 186 radio communications networks including the Truxton Canyon and San Carlos
stations to bring the entire Division into compliance with Project 25 standards requiring analog equipment
be replaced with digital radio equipment before January 1, 2005 (statutory deadline). The Division will
purchase the equipment we recommended directly from the manufacturers off their GSA/FSS Schedules thereby
reducing the overall cost of the project by several million dollars.
